Will this work on classic rimmed aquariums?

For future people with this question. I have a 75 Gallon tank from Petco ($1 per gallon sale) and this did not fit around the black rim. But if you saw off a little bit of the time that's meant to hold lids it will fit over just fine. You'd get a much cleaner cut than me if you use a Dremel. Be sure to get all the plastic bits out of the tank before you put your fish in. See video for an idea of what I mean.

I use this with cascade 1000 filter, the float keeps being sucked under water. Any tips? Is my filter too strong for this?

Adjust the air in the float (use a plastic pipette to slowly add or remove air from the bubble to obtain the amount of flow you desire). Or to adjust lower flow by the bottom plug.

Is the 17mm for 5/8th i.d or o.d tubing my hydor 350 is 5/8th" i.d 3/4" o.d tubing
