I needed to track my child's weight daily while traveling. We were able to carry this scale in either checked or carry-on luggage. It is solid and compact, making it easy to pack.The scale is accurate, matching our home scale very closely. The battery lasted the full three week trip and did not require recharging.

The positives are that something so small and lightweight actually works, and that the scale (in its case) doesn't take much space in a travel bag. The negative aspect of 'small and easy to pack' is that the scale is too small for me to put both my feet (woman's size 7) completely on the surface. I had to hold onto something to keep from falling off, while wobbling. The directions state that you should not wobble, but unless a child is on the scale, you're going to wobble. But I wanted a travel scale, and it actually worked, so it's better than not having one. The case is overpriced, but it fits the scale well.One other thing is that although the scale surface is a nice shiny mirror, I would NOT place an object (the scale) that has been on the floor (a hotel bathroom) on a table, and I would NOT put my face near the surface that my feet have touched (wobbled on) after standing on a hotel bathroom floor. Ewww! But the shiny surface looks nice.

It was a perfect size just didn’t like it

I returned this scale after a week of trying to get consistent readings. The big problem is that you ned to balance on its small footprint. And as you are balancing, the weight reading fluctuates to the point that it becomes not particularly useful. The mirror function (not why I bought it) was also not what is was shown to be - not clear. I really wanted to love this. I'm going to be traveling off the beaten path for the next 12 months, but just couldn't get there.

Like several others from their reviews, we needed a scale to travel with, to discern when additional medication might be required. This absolutely fit the bill. Re the accuracy, I took off a star because it's five pounds from a 'tested' scale used before we departed. However, the five pounds off was a constant, thus it worked just fine for our needs. (i.e., it was always five pounds off, but the daily change was accurate.) I took off a star from the easy to use metric because it's a bit hard to read the small numbers from a distance. Aside from those two small quibbles, we're really happy with it, and very glad we bought it. The scale has already joined us for three trips. Well worth it!
