The Velcro Straps are 1 1/2 “ wide and there are two straps.

Would this work inside a bike basket?

It's not designed for that, the Velcro straps are oriented to attach to the handle bar and stem. That said, I attached mine to the outside of a front basket. Using the wraps you attach and it works great for me.

Does a water bottle remove easily from this holder or do you need both hands to get bottle out?

Depends on the size of the bottle, I have a 28 oz Yeti Rambler that fits VERY tightly, but if you have a regular 20 or 24oz water bottle it will come out easily one handed

Secure botton holders

These holders are strong enough to easily hold a 0.75 litre bottle of water. Can be slung underneath a frame as the velcro staps hold securely. Very happy with this holder, bottles don't bounce out. High quality for a very good price, highly recommended. Also arrived quickly.

Does the job

This comes with a set of two. Velcro straps so its super easy to wrap around and install on any object, we put them on our bikes and actually move them around often, they easily hold water bottles though I wouldn't recommend putting any open containers in them as they slide around and are pretty flimsy, however for holding water bottles, locking them in, and staying gripped tightly to wherever you latch them on to, they work great.
