Very nice filament. Will definitely purchase more
Polymaker’s 2.85mm Matte PLA filament delivers a smooth, low-gloss finish that gives prints a professional look while maintaining excellent dimensional accuracy. It prints consistently with minimal warping or stringing, has a kind of matte finish, very satisfied

Temperature control is important, but this is a good material.
My main reason for getting this filament was to rid stop the growth of the pile of spools that I have to find other uses for. The spool of this filament appears to be made of compressed paper board or cardboard. This material is both biodegradable (probably compostable) and recyclable.Environment:==========Ultimaker S5Indoors, 68F/20C, 54% RH"Generic PLA" profile in Ultimaker CuraThe Filament:My initial impression upon receiving the filament was skepticism. The filament itself is more pliable and feels less dense than other PLA when loading it into the printer. Looking at the specifications for this PLA and others made by Polymaker and other manufacturers, PolyTerra is actually a little more dense than standard PLA. This means your printer will need to have slightly more predictable temperatures at the hotend than is usually required for PLA. If you've got a reputable brand and haven't modified the hotend or its related systems, this should not be a problem. The first couple passes seemed a bit goopy will mild pilling and stringing (this is a temperature control issue), but subsequent layers were impressively smooth. I've had this filament for 8 hours now, printing for 7; 3 separate prints. Zero complaints about quality thus far.The filament has a nice matte appearance and texture, and requires little post-processing unless you need a polished part. The color is lighter than standard PLA. Brims tear away easily and leave very little material behind at the corner of the brim and the part. Conclusion==========If you have a printer than can achieve and maintain tight control of the necessary print temperatures for PLA, you should have no problem printing with this material. I will definitely be buying this again!

Works great in my lulz bot
Printed a lot using this filament in my lulzbot. Great brand and it keeps well, even in inconsistent conditions.

Great filament (PolyTerra)
Of the half dozen PLA filaments I have used, this PolyTerra filament is my favorite. I have the Ender 3 V2 and as long as the filament is kept dry, like most, is prints great. I got a 2 roll package of the Black PolyTerra and one of the bags had lost its vacuum. I tried printing with that one first and gave up after 3 attempts. It was not adhering to the plate, stringing like crazy and just made a mess. I opened the other roll and it printed perfect. After baking the first roll at 120F for about 5 hours then sitting on the shelf a few days, it printed just as well as the roll which did not lose its vacuum so good as new.In addition to a great filament, the rolls come in resealable bags which none of the others I have tried do. The rolls are also on recycled cardboard, another plus. Not to mention a planted tree with each roll (gimmicky but hey, still nice). Final plus: the single roll orders contain larger desiccant pouches than most. Unfortunately, the double roll packages did not. They just had the tiny ones.

Black PLA struggling in Ultimaker S3
Bought this when the Black Ultimaker PLA was backordered. Using this in my Ultimaker S3. Some prints turn out great, but others are a mess. Not sure why. The prints are not that complex. It is like the filament is melting once layed down. Was printing a simple case for pi. Bottom printed fantastic. The top was a mess, with parts of it really stringing and corner parts like it melted.
