"This is awesome, Dad!"
I would like to sincerely thank Ms. Lepage for writing and publishing her recent book, Thin Slices of Anxiety. I read about it on Maria Papova's blog Brain Pickings and thought it could be a wonderful book for my 9 year old son who was recently diagnosis with general anxiety disorder. The book arrived yesterday and my son's immediate reaction after reading it was "This is awesome, Dad! I'm going to read this every time I start to feel anxious." This book shows that words alone cannot always express and communicate our the feelings, but visual art can be an important vehicle to support that. Thank you again, Ms Lepage, for taking the bold step to publish a book about your inner most feelings and fears. You are a wonderful person!

Wisdom about Anxiety
This must be rated as one of my favorite books. I am glad to have the electronic version otherwise my copy would have been in pieces from reading it.The insights about personal anxiety is great! One example: how one becomes obsessed with the inside, forgetting to make an external test: is this appropriate? The pictures in their own right is something to enjoy and appreciate. One could dare and think this a children's book. I say: welcome the wisdom of life

Quick very Quick running!!!!!! Read.
Beautiful constructed ideas using simple but deep images linked with simple healing words and concepts. It took my breath away. I think I read it in less than five minutes. I can see coming back again many times. A masterpiece. I read it too fast. I Better read it slowerrrrrrrrrr.

Gave me Anxiety
Recommended to me by a BookTuber, I thought this would be interesting. I have anxiety myself, so I thought I'd like it. I didn't like it, and it gave me anxiety to read. It reminds me of someone who had an art project and did a few illustrations early on, but then forgot about the whole thing until 3 days before it was due. It was like quick scribbles, and I was disappointed.

Great insights, insightful illustrations
This is a lovely book with some wonderful insights about anxiety and a few simple ideas to overcome it. It is a quick read - but one that is well worth going back to again and again. And a beautiful gift to give someone you know who is struggling with anxiety.

Very short "book"
Cute but it's handwritten phrases and drawings-- no actual text. Read entire thing in 5 minutes. She captures essence of anxiety but feels like a rip off $9 plus for kindle book. Description said 100 plus pages but that doesn't seem accurate.

L'amitié des mots et des douleurs
Les illustrations de Catherine Lepage sont touchantes. Légèrement, sans trop en avoir l'air, elle atteint des profondeurs qu'il fait bon d'aérer avec quelques coups de couleurs. Merci Catherine!
