I got a fondue pot on a whim for my daughter's birthday sleepover. She doesn't like cake and I was trying to think out of the box and it was a crazy success!!!! The kids LOVED it and I've never see kids devour so much fruit so quickly!It was so easy to use. My only negative is the cord isn't very long so we had to put it on the table after it had melted without it staying on. The kids ate it so quickly that it wasn't an issue.The chocolate melted quickly and it was super easy to clean as well. It comes with 6 color coded fondue forks and the plastic rim to rest them against. We even tried out another recipe for dairy and gluten free chocolate fondue mix and it worked great for that too.My kids keep asking to get this out and we love love having it and it's an easy way to get them to devour fruit!

This was great. I was able to heat it up to a correct temperature. The broth was amazing and cooked a variety of meats very well. My son liked to put the meat in the pot but not eat it. It cooled quickly. This appeared to clean well but once dried, you could still see residue on the non stick bottom.

We have been doing fondue evenings or parties with friends for many years. Yes, these are the things most newlywed finds on the gift table and gets stored in the garage for MANY years, or are used as boat anchors. We have always use the sterno cans, but sterno is getting harder to find, is a fingers burn hazaard, and sterno does not keep oil hot enough to cook meat. However, sterno does well for cheese temps. We decided to finally get away from the bother of steno and bought TWO of these units. If it worked as we thought we would get another, so why not get two to start? The units have good temperature control through the whole range of CheeseCool-to-MeatHot, as measured by our infrared thermometer. The handles are large enough to use with oven mitts, and the units look good on the tabletop. What else could one want? WE RECOMMEND THE UNIT.

If you like to host, this is the pot for you. It’s cute, easy to wash, and heats up super quick. When I first took it out of the box i initially thought it was smaller than I expected, but when we had people over, it still held more than enough cheese for 6 people. The cord is VERY short, less than 2ft. I used just a plain extension cord (M to F, think of the long 25-50ft extension cords often used outside) and didn’t have any issues. My friends and I had a great time, and when it came time to clean up, both the inside and outside of the pot, as well as the plastic ring for the dippers, were pretty non-stick and easy to clean. The instructions state to use some kind of oil on the inside of the pot to prevent cheese sticking, I did not do this and still had to use very minimal effort when cleaning off the hardened crusty cheese that had been sitting out all night. No complaints other than the length of the cord, definitely a great find!

I was surprised at how large the pot was. Served cheese fondue and really enjoyed a very hot snack. I easily adjusted the heat during the process. Will certainly use the fondue pot for other purposes.

Our broth was boiling very quickly and it did a fantastic job of keeping the cheese melty. I am going to buy another one so that we can have more people over!
