Really fascinating review into how the current way of life and living is affecting our children. Especially interesting as I have an ASD son and have noticed the impact simplicity has on him.

This book is amazing. It changed the way I parented 10 years ago and I have recently gifted this book to my sister. In an overwhelming and fast paced world, this book is the antedote to the anxiety and overwhelm of too much. It is practical and achievable, and I don't feel like many other parenting challanges can be addressed before putting in place many of the strategies in this book.

Excellent book - I listened to the audio version first and then bought the paper copy to have as a reference as we raise our children. Full of reminders to SLOW DOWN and focus on what matters when it comes to family - time together, time to recharge one's batteries, time to be bored and use one's brain, time to develop. Challenging to uphold in our modern, fast-paced, screen-obsessed culture but absolutely worth it.

Must read for all parents! I learned so much!
