Super Lightweight 3 Section Dog Walk with Aluminum Ramp

This is the best dog ramp I have ever seen. It is well made. The surface is plastic in a non-slip pattern. The ramp opens and closes easily. It's light enough that I can carry it with one hand. What I really like is that, when closed, it takes up less than half the space in the back seat of my Odyssey and CRV.The ramp fits well on the rear bumper of my vehicles. Two large foam rollers help hold it in place on the bumper.I expected that the ramp would have a locking mechanism. It does not have one. There is a strap that can be used to hold the ramp closed but it is not needed. When closed, holding the ramp by the side keeps it closed while moving it.

It is so light weight that I can handle the ramp with one hand and the dog in the other. I have an SUV that is higher than most other cars. It is a must! I love it and recommend it to everyone that asks about it. I have Clumber Spaniels and they are just too heavy for me to lift up and down out of the SUV. It is extremely well made from Germany. It is one of the best purchases I have ever made for my dogs.

The item itself works great so far. It's taking a little coaxing, but my dog is using it and it's not bending under his 75lbs.This item was sent in the manufacturer's box; no additional box. The box was damaged a little, but the product was fine. I could tell the package had been opened before, then sealed a few times with tape. When I opened the package dog hair puffed out. The item was used - not new. There was dog hair on the bottom, and the feet all had white scuff marks on them. I wouldn't have minded a used item, if I paid for a used item - this was $300! I had to clean it the item before use, but the scuffs are permanent.

I liked it but my dogs didn't. Attached to a (high???) Suburban, it was too steep a ramp and the dogs were scared to use it. Construction was top notch and so if they'd been younger, maybe we could have trained them to use it.

The price of this item increased more than double, therefore I cannot recommend this to friends. When a company price gouges like this, I become incredibly turned off and will seek other companies.

Den här rampen är i utmärkt kvalitet, prisvärd och fungerar även för stora hundar. Används nästan dagligen under flera månader av både en Saint Bernard och Chow Chow, utan några som helst tecken på slitage. Tillräckligt lång och bred. Den får bra grepp också, även om den används till en hög Chrysler Voyager. Väger inte mycket heller. Hundarna halkar inte, och båda lärde sig att gå på rampen ganska snabbt utan att protestera. Detta är en alldeles utmärkt ramp, och ett mer prisvärt alterantiv till de bästa och dyraste hundramparna som rekommenderas av uppfödare och svenska butiker. Hoppas att det kommer in flera i lager framöver, för det här är defintivt en bra hundramp till ett bra pris.

Recommended maximum 'bridge' height (floor to boot cill) is 70cm, but works perfectly with my LR Discovery Sport at 79cm. A couple of practice runs on the flat with tasty rewards, and then again in situ against the vehicle, and my youthful (nearly 15 yo) English Springer Spaniel got the hang of his new ramp access in a flash. Would observe that the surface was a tad slippy at first, but a calm and slow ascent/descent overcomes this. BEWARE: some other re-sellers do not include the storage bag which I think is an absolute necessity to keep the inside of your vehicle clean if carrying your ramp in transit.

Bisher bin ich total begeistert von der Rampe, einzig die Rutschfestigkeit konnte ich aufgrund des trockenen Wetters nicht testen. Die Rampe ist einfach im Handling, wirklich schön klein und leicht.Unser Hund hat panische Angst vor Höhe, daher war ich mir überhaupt nicht sicher, ob ich sie dazu bewegen kann, die Rampe hoch- oder runterzugehen. Also habe ich es erst mal am Sofa geübt, das ist ja nicht so hoch wie das Auto. Erst lief es gar nicht. Weder Ball ( absolutes Lieblingsspielzeug) noch Käse (absolutes Lieblingsleckerchen) konnten sie auf die Rampe locken. Ich habe dann wirklich jedes Bein einzeln hochbewegt. Schritt für Schritt - und siehe da, als sie einmal oben war, ging es. So habe ich es tagelang gemacht. Beim ersten Mal am Auto die gleiche Prozedur. Unser Hund wird nie glücklich ins Auto und wieder hinaus über die Rampe gehen, aber mein Rücken freut sich. 1A Empfehlung!Noch ein Nachtrag: Mittlerweile geht unser Hund die Rampe hoch und runter, als hätte sie es nie anders gemacht. Und da wir die Rampe nun ausgiebig im Regen testen konnten, kann ich sagen, dass sie absolut rutschfest ist.

Eine leichte Aufstiegshilfe für unseren Hund, proplemlos aufzustellen, für den Hund gut begehbar, kein Rutschen....gut zu transportieren, Preis Leistungsverhältnis gut, empfehle sehr gerne weiter..
