I have bought several different cheap chargers over the years,some are just AC adaptors and won't charge at all.Others over-charge, anything up to 29+ volts,taking forever and causing the charger to over-heat alarmingly and probably damaging the batteries.I find this charger charges to about 27 volts which drops back to 26+ when left, and a nice small fan built in like the €100+ ones,for a quarter of the price, and looks good as well.Don't waste your money buying what seem to be cheap chargers for regular 4 wheel 24volt mobility scooters.They maybe ok for the little 2 wheelers if your stupid enough to buy one.

Does as it should, can't ask for more than that, at a sensible price too.

I got this yesterday and plugged my scooter in to charge over night. Woke up this morning to a horrible burning smell. When I touched the battery box it was read hot. Luckily the battery wasn't fried and is still working, but from now on I will have to only have it plugged in for a few hours at a time and keep an eye on it.So in short, it works, but doesn't stop charging so needs to be supervised.

On the 8 October 2023 I purchased this battery charger for my mobility scooter had it PAT tested and it’s not working can I get a refund please
