No, this is not an I-lok. This is used to authorize Arturia, Cubase and a few other applications. It WILL NOT hold ILok or ILOK2 licenses.

Does the job

I misplaced my dongle during a move, and the only way I could think of to find it was to order a new one.I ordered this new one and it works fine and of course I found the original one as soon as I got this replacement!So now I have two but that’s OK. I can have my DAW on two computers at once now!

Can't use Cubase without it

My old one broke. I could have bought directly from Steinberg, but it was cheaper through Amazon. You have to have this key in order to access Steinberg software, i.e. Cubase.
