Bought for my boyfriend. He loves the quality, fit and lightweight but durable material, as well as the pockets, and length of the shorts. He is very happy with this brand all the way around.The stitching is nice, but the only thing he's not crazy about is the velcro closures in the back pockets, but he's okay with that enough to want more of these shorts in different colors. I've ordered two colors for him so far. I wish there were a lot more color options!He wears a size 36, and is 5'8" tall; these shorts come down just above his knees, so they are a perfect length to him and look great! Often high quality expensive items ended up here simply because the size label was incorrect, or stitching was slightly off. Yet those were well made and lasted nearly a decade. The Wrangler brand used to represent a quality pair of jeans, years ago.Pros: Main advantage: The fit is as advertised and comfortable in the crotch region and waistline. The fabric is thin, this may be what you want if you prefer a lighter fabric. There are 5 smaller cargo pockets instead of 2 large ones. It uses Velcro pocket closures. A side point regarding fit is that the crotch and groin region is snug in the Amazon Basics cargo shorts. It's "fine" if you never sit down. In addition, the fabric is thin and is likely not durable, another one of the "cheap disposable clothing". I can live with the Velcro but like buttons. Size? Ordered a 33, this pair was for sure a 30. Mismarkered or just run small idk. However we did keep them cause they a really nice quality, mid weight, soft flexible brushed denim. Passed them to the 28 year old. He loved them!

Quality is good but the size is not as described. I don't understand how people here say they are true to size as I bought size 50 being a size 49 and they were so big that I had to go to the local sewing lady to get them smaller. Turns out they measure 55 inch when they are supposed to be 50".
