I was amazed when I pulled this out of the package and realized the thickness of the material. It will be perfect for cold days with boots when I want to wear a skirt, but I don't want to freeze! It was true to size (I typically wear a 4/6 and ordered a medium) and drapes nicely. If you have a small waist and larger hips, this skirt will fit well.I do have two minor issues with the skirt: 1) No care instructions so I will just plan to dry-clean it, and 2) the belt was way too big. My guess is they sent an XL belt with the M skirt. Doesn't matter because I have plenty of other belts I can wear with it.

I usually never buy clothes on Amazon because I’m very skeptical of the sizing but I needed some skirts so I decided to risk it and order the black and khaki both in size small. I am in love with them. I am 5’4” with a waist 24/25 and these fit me perfectly. They hit just a little above my ankles. The material is very good and thick, the skirts had no loose threads or holes and the colors came exactly as advertised. The back of the waistline has elastic which is very thick and good quality, allows for a slight stretch. They look so elegant, the a-line shape of the skirt is subtle. The material is thick but still moves easily and flows away from the body (doesn’t hug on the bum or the legs). These really exceeded my expectations and I am really happy with them. Overall, good buy. Fabric is thick and soft, but the skirt is maxi length and the waist fits looser than I wanted. I'm going to hem it and take in the waist though, and it will be perfect. Nothing major and nothing that's going to take too long to do. Not excited about the sewing, but it's still good! Pockets are wonderful too, the placement accentuates my hips, which is a big plus too. Very flattering to wear, gives me a great hourglass shape while keeping warm!EDIT: After taking the hem up 8 inches (then folded over to shorten by 9 inches overall), I brought it up to midi length. I absolutely love it. It's adorable and looks very chic!

Skirt is good quality. Material is heavy and there is a lining. Skirt has a zipper at waist. However, runs VERY small. I am a USA size 8 in most brands (Target, Old Navy, Kut from the Kloth) and I ordered XL. To zip up skirt, had to pull waist literally to just under my bra! Too high to tuck in top to get that look. On top of that, I am 5'2. Skirt length didn't work for me. Too long to be midi and too short to be maxi length. Too bad because it is super cute and good for fall/winter. I'd say order up 2-3 sizes and give this skirt a try to see if it works for your body or not.Gave three stars because I tried to return this item and was told by seller to contact Amazon, but Amazon won't let me set up a refund because it's over 30 days. Disappointing that neither would assist me when I use Amazon so much.

At the time I bought this skirt my stats were:5’5”, 149lbs, 33” waist, 41” hips.Purchased a Large according to the size chart (US 8/32.3 waist) and it fit exactly as expected. A little on the tighter side since I am between sizes, but still soft, comfortable, and warm.The cloth belt is also nice, but something to keep in mind is that it is cut to fit the skirt size exactly. If I were to gain any more weight the skirt would still fit, but the belt would not. Not a huge issue since I have other belts, but worth noting.

Let me first start by giving my measurements as reference. I am 5'5" and 135lbs, athletic build. I have a 32" bust, 27" waist, and 34" hip. Originally I ordered a medium after reading the other reviews that it ran small. However, when it arrived I was disappointed to see that it was too large. It did not rest at my waist but rather on my hips. I returned the skirt and ordered two more, in the charcoal and brown, in a size small. They both fit perfectly. They are not too snug and offer ample room to tuck a shirt or sweater in with room to breath. This is the most comfortable fitting skirt. The material is heavy and surprisingly great quality. It is enough to keep you warm in the winter with a pair of leggings beneath or in the fall or spring when it is a little warmer. The length reaches to my ankles which pairs nicely with boots, sandals, or heels. There are no belt loops, however, the fit is perfect and does not need a supportive belt to hold it up. I cannot say enough about this skirt, it is one of my favorite clothing purchases on Amazon. Do not be afraid to order your true size as my experience indicates that it is not "Asian" sizing.

Inaccurate website description. The item name "Choies Women's High Waist A-line Flared Long Skirt Winter Fall Midi Skirt" is confusing. Is it a long skirt or a midi one? You won't know until having received the item. The skirt I received is a maxi skirt. My height is 5'5. It is long enough to cover my ankles and when I walk, I feel I'm going to stumble as the skirt is both heavy and bulky. The waist is way too large for a size Small. I could not make it stay on or above my waistline and it kept sliding down, hanging around my hips.The only good thing about the skirt is its material. Though heavy, it is warm and soft. If it is designed better and true to size, it would make a great winter/fall skirt.

I love this skirt but the L based upon reviews I thought would be better but it was a little too big for me in the waist so I will order another in M. The Large still works but I want a more snug fit

Comfortable and thick, good winter skirt. Fits nicely on your waist and flows nicely when you walk.

I ordered size M. I have 168cm and have a 27” waist. This skirt falls just above my ankle showing my boots and it looks perfect. is little loose around waist but can be fixed with little tailoring.

Just followed the table for size and it fits very well.
