This is a great starter ball for little kids starting out playing basketball! Helps with hand placement and is smaller (lighter) for the smaller kids to practice building up their strength. My son is 7 and this has helped him build his skill. Good quality

Nice for beginners
This ball provides a nice reference point for newcomers to basketball. I use this to help coach 5th graders (some new to the sport). While successful in helping form the base of your shot it is important to teach that your form can be modified for comfort. Product recommend for newcomers and children.
