Nice!

This is a nicely made hitch with every attachment that you will need. I suggest getting a locking pin as the one included doesn’t. Overall very satisfied with this purchase.

Quality

I liked the fit. With my old single-ball mount, I had to wiggle and slide the pin back and forth to get it installed. I do not have that aggravation with this Reese Tri-Mount. This mount is a bit heavy and it does not have the drop-down of my previous hitches. It works well anyway. I will not need to search for another hitch when switching trailers. ( I found an odd use for the hook---pulling a large garbage can.)

Reese 7031400 Tri-Ball Mount with Hook

Great product if you do not want no signs of rust at all, then how about take your hitch off when you’re done with it and put it away in your storage compartment other than that mine has no rust at all and is used all the time

⚡ The Only Hitch You’ll Ever Need ⚡

💪 The Reese 7031400 Tri-Ball Mount with Hook has been a game-changer for my towing setup. Having three ball sizes and a hook all in one saves so much time and hassle—no more swapping parts or carrying extra gear! It’s built tough, handles heavy loads like a pro, and the rust-resistant finish keeps it looking great even after rough conditions. Whether I’m hauling a trailer or pulling equipment, it’s reliable every time. If you tow anything, this is the one to get! 🚚🔗

Very nice, but not cheap

This is a very nice unit, and it solves a lot of problems. If you're unsure of what size ball you'll need, well, this baby has got you covered. It's also nice because you throw it in your tool box and you'll never have to rummage around for a particular ball or for the wrench to install it. Everything is right there. All that said, this little fellow is not cheap. The hook is a very nice feature, but you're paying a lot extra for that hook, and I've pulled several stumps and bushes with chain hooked around the regular old ball. It's not a necessity, but it is nice.Long story short, if you can afford it, it's a very nice way to go. This will keep you from that 4:45 AM "Oh Lord, we need a different ball" moment that sinks the fishing trip before it has even started. The black coating is well applied and seems fairly heavy duty. I would strongly urge you to get a locking hitch pin, as this is a $80 mount you're hanging off the back of your truck. Sadly, lots of people have sticky fingers.

Great product

This is a great hitch. It is well built and looks good. It has held up much better than a different brand I tried.

Small town sheriffs - beware

Funny story. I was driving my FJ cruiser, minding my own business, when all of the sudden i see a tank stuck in the mud. Now this wasn't just mud, this was 2 feet thick, alabama clay mud. Here is the back story.A couple of years ago an army sargeant major moved into my hometown with his wife and son. It had been a few months and the sargeant developed some bad blood with the local sheriff. These guys didn't like each other at all (it turns out the sheriff had been pimping out local girls) and it really started to effect the sargeant's home life. The sheriff planted weed on the sarge's son and had him sent to a county work farm. This irritated the sarge, because he knew the sheriff was just taking out his hatred of the sarge on his son. What the sheriff didn't know is this sarge was special. He owned a tank. A WW2 vintage sherman tank. So, the sarge decided that it would be in everyone's best interest if he used said tank to bust his son out of the county farm and take him across the state line (to seek proper justice for the sheriff). Well, long story short, which involved the governor, the sarge did bust his son out of the farm and got very close to the state line. But woudn't you know it - the sheriff had a blockade waiting for him to prevent them from crossing the border.Well here is where i come in. To get around the blockade, the sarge drove through a field, which the sheriff soaked first to make it extra muddy. Well the sarge was stuck. That is until i came along. A buddy of mine with a motorcycle and another buddy that was a carpenter built a ramp and rode the motorcycle off the ramp out into the field to help rescue the tank. My buddy had a tow strap with him on the bike. One end was connected to the tri-ball hook on my FJ and one to the tank.Lets just say this. The sheriff was brought to justice and i got my moneys worth out of the tri-ball hook.
