Winnie and Wilbur: Happy Birthday, Winnie

Good books if your child isn’t interested in a long read. Plenty to look at.
My 9 year old still loves these books. She’s not a confident reader so these are great to get her interested in reading, with lots of illustrations to look at and keep your child interested. There’s just enough words to get them to read and stay interested and sometimes we make a game after to see who we can find in a page. Like ‘can you find the worm on the fish hook, like in a the picture above.

Poor quality cheaply printed book.
The cheap copy I was sent:1. Does not have a pull out birthday cake page like the original book.2. The book has no bar code, so it’s probably a cheap, computer generated copy.3. The colour quality and design of the front cover is poor compared to the original book.4. The book was sent in a blue plastic bag instead of a stiff card envelope so it arrived with a creased front cover.

Never disappointed with these stories and the CD
My 4 year old class children love choosing their favourite kind of birthday cake inspired by Winnie the switch and her birthday cakes! Great story !

Bought on a whim - it went down well and is a favourite.
My daughter loves this book. She now wants a rainbow birthday cake.
