Yibuy Tenor Sax Mouthpiece 9# Set Brass Musical Instrument Replacement Tool

i have been looking for a mouthpiece to give me the sound in my head for how I want to sound.. This is IT! I really can't believe the quality of this piece... It's not super bright and not super dark, it's very balanced and I can push it and it sounds brighter but not super bright. I have to get used to it but... Man I tell you, if you are a serious player (I don't mean a pro, just serious about playing tenor sax) GET THIS! It's a great value and well made. You will need to buy a ligature. The ligature it comes with doesn't do it justice. OVERALL A+++++++AN HONORABLE MENTION.. Coming from China in 15 days, that's really awesome! I usually have to wait about a month.. This was the purchase of the year, I believe!

Don't waste your time. The mill work on this piece is horrible. I've attached a picture of the mouthpiece's tip -rail is larger (too wide) than the reed! A real mouthpiece manufacturer would never let this get past quality control. If you play sax professionally, you know the tip, rail and reed are supposed to be ALL aligned perfect. Nevertheless, I play tested it and was NOT impressed. No projection and stuffy sounding. Save your money and put it towards a brand name mouthpiece than this garbage. This was one of the worst mouthpieces i've ever played. Complete let down, wast of time and money.Update: Although the return policy was ridiculous, the company did reach out to me and gave me a refund minus shipping cost to try and make things right.

This is my 3rd #9 Yibuy metal tenor mouthpiece. The other two were great. This one, not so much. Built exactly like my rose colored Yibuy #9, which played wonderfully, but this one was a dud. These are cheaper than the rose ones, and are raw brass, which gives it a bit of a metal taste. I could live with that issue, if it sounded good, but this one was a dud.

This product is amazing for the price. I wish I could find out more about this company.

obviously the chinese copied a guardala . the metal is sketchy and possibly could be a danger to have in your mouth. that said. holy **** this a great piece! just had another sax player bring over his guardala collection to compare to my guardala brecker... got to tell you this thing is close. my brecker is worth 2K. this cost me 25 bucks. i can tell you it's apples and oranges. that's insane. the guy on youtube is right. extremely variable on these chinese pieces but.....if you get the right one it's probably gonna be at least in your top 3 or 4 mp's. regardless of price. take a chance. i'll most likely have this plated for safety's sake.
