Creative Hobbies Decorative Light Up Wooden Alphabet Letter, 6.25 Inch Tall, White MDF, with Battery Operated LED Lights, Letter D

I bought these to hang in the playroom and spell READ. They are exactly what I wanted: smaller than most of the marquee letters in stores, white, inexpensive, good quality (read: not plastic) and light up. They are made out of wood. The lights are LED with a cold bluish color.Flaws (that I can live with):1) The white paint easily gets marked up by scratches even as soft as a fingernail.2) The hanging hooks aren't hung on this in a way that makes the letter hang level to the ground which is pretty frustrating especially since the weight of the letters can be heavier in one direction than another. Generally once it's hung, it sort of "sticks" to the wall and doesn't really move much. The letter "D" still moves right though.3) This is more of a design issue and isn't a huge problem but the button to turn the lights on is in the back which means you have to take the letter off the wall to turn it on and with the problem listed under number 2, this can be frustrating.

I don't write a lot of reviews, but I wanted to drop a line letting you guys know that this is a really cute product! It's sturdy wood, it's well-painted and the lights are tiny LED lights that perfectly illuminate. I'm using it as a night light for my young daughter and it's the perfect amount of light for her nursery. *My only note is that when putting the batteries in I smashed in two of the tiny LED lights and they don't come back out. They still light up but be careful when you're putting the batteries in! Otherwise, enjoy! You can also collect more letters and spell out a name. Or "love" or whatever... ;)

i Love this! i bought it along with a S and the & Sign to signify me and my boyfriends initials. They are exactly as you picture them to be and so far we haven't had any problems with them. It's a nice white wood with lights on them. When i recieved it at first it looked like there was an issue with one of the lights on the D letter but i still proceeded to decorate with it, when i turned it on when i was finally done once it was on the wall there are no flaws. I recommend this product!

Item had a defect so I'm getting another one, but I can tell without the defect the item has good quality (quite heavy actually) and would look good on a nursery shelf.

Can only have it on for maybe an hour before the batteries die.
