Can i use a 24w led bulb?

Would an edison bulb look good in this lamp?

A flat (ish) faced bulb fits really well. That would be a flood light or spot light. An Edison would protrude beyond the lampshade.

Can the lamp be adjusted so that the head is pointing upwards?

Close, but not quite. If you just lift the lamp part -- it goes to 90 degrees. The lamp head can also swivels to the right or left but it will not go 180. It wouldn't look very attractive at 180 anyway. It looks like it could from the elbow but it just keeps the lamp in a reading position. It's a GREAT reading lamp however. I love it.

I am interested in this lamp but the power output in my country is 240 volt. I notice this lamp is for 120 volt. Is there one for 240 volt?
