Panasonic Lumix FZ80 and FZ82 User's Guide

I wish I'd bought this book sooner! I sent back my first FZ80 as I thought it was faulty. As Graham explains (among much else) the adjuster I though faulty is simply very loose on all these cameras - it is on my replacement one too. He has the answer, now applied. If you buy this black & white version you can apply for a link to full colour PDF downloadable version and access to Graham's useful YouTube videos and other articles he has written. There is much general photographic advice here too. If you have a Lumix FZ80/82 buy this book, you won't regret it.

Very clear instruction book for this camera with loads of suggestions on its use. I highly recommend it as it doesn’t assume that you have previous knowledge or that the small booklet which comes with the camera does

I bought this as I couldn't find a book for the FZ72 and knew this would still be useful and it is. I always look for a book similar to this for a new camera as it is so much more useful than the manual

This is a great guide to refer too with picture illustrations. I do wish the pictures were colour and not black n white I just feel this would enhance the book so much more. Still covers everything and more that I will need to get to grips with my new camera. The book is not too heavy and the print is a good size.Overall a great book with clear instructions and illustrations

Absolutely full of info about my Panasonic FZ82 camera. My photography skills have increased 10 fold since reading it. You can also get a free digital version from Graham Houghton's web-site if you send him your Amazon Order number. Well worth the money.

This book is a great tool for getting the best out of this camera , I found it very useful . Be sure to check out Graham on YouTube also as he does great lessons how to get the best out of this camera ( and others )

This book is full of information but it has for me two problems. The book lacks an index which makes finding specific items troublesome. Secondly the picture quality is pitiful,. I would still buy the book

This book is a extensive study at this most excellent Lumix FZ80 camera abilities. It is amazing; everything about this great camera is cover in this manual. Feels like I am back in college course learning this just about this camera.Because of Raw Picture Processing almost every thing about the picture can be changed after the picture is taken. Being a photographer since my younger days; understanding this camera capabilities are amazing.One persons review is I just want an automatic camera that I don't have to think about. Which is what this camera is; however with a bit of study this book can help you in any area that you wish to learn more about.Thanks to the author who took the time to write this, so many others have just glossed over a few of its eaisier capabilities. This is a very complicated or easy camera depending "if" you choose to use all of its features. I believe it is worth the try. If you just want a automatic camera, than you picked a great camera.

Für einen interessierten Fotolaien wie mich, der über die !"Focus-Scharf-Auslös-Ebene" etwas hinausgehen will ein sehr gutes "Vademecum". Dem Autor ist für dieses Engagement zu danken! Denn aus bloßem Geschäftssinn ein solches Kompendium für nur einen Kameratyp (überdies im Nischenbereich der MFT-Bridgekameras) zu erstellen kann sich nicht rechnen.

The book is good, It’s my knowledge and ability that’s in doubt! I have read the guide, sections of it were great but some of it is difficult to understand! I must point out l am a recent convert to serious digital photography and my previous camera was little more then a digital box camera so time will tell!

Graham Houghton speaks my language! I purchased the Lumix FZ80 a month ago and have struggled to learn anything about it from the company provided manual. I’ve owned a variety of cameras in my lifetime, including 35 mm with all the manual settings and this camera had me bamboozled. Bless him for going out on his own to self publish a manual that this human being could actually understand! I bought this camera specifically for an Alaskan cruise and agonized over whether I would learn it in time for the trip. Thanks to GH I will be able to capture memorable photos from a bucket list trip I’ve been waiting for my whole life!

The book itself is great. The author wrote the definitive guide for the Lumix FZ80.However the book as shipped from Amazon arrived in box that was dry on the outside, but the book itself was partially soaked in some substance I cannot identify. Reason for 4 stars, again not fault of author. See photos. Must have happened at Amazon warehouse prior to shipping, because other items in box (large American flag, and hardware (nuts & bolts) were dry along with inside of box. Amazon, as always made it easy to get a replacement shipped as soon as possible. Amazon returns are awesome. Thank you!
