I only needed a few of the things in this set, like the knitting pin point protectors, and the cable stitch holders, and this was the most economical way I could find to buy them.It arrived quickly, packaged in a small plastic container 12.7 x 7 x 2.1cm or 5 x 2.75 x .88" approx, which has a hanging attachment at the top, I'm guessing from retail of the empty box, I wouldn't recommend hanging it full, as it doesn't seem strong enough, plus I don't think the lock would hold under the pressure.The thread cutter seems a little more dangerous than the one I currently use, which is only 5.5mm at it's widest point when fully opened and has a plastic cover to keep it closed & the blades covered when not in use. This one opens to just over 10mm, has no cover or even a locking system to keep the blades closed; it's like the plant nippers that came with my secateurs - fine for keeping in the shed, but not in the home when I'm sewing, so if you have young children, best keep these out of the way.The "split rings" in the set are not in fact split rings, just rings, to be used when knitting in the round, to keep track of the end/beginning of the row.I would also add that the thimble is unlike any I have ever seen. The closest resemblance was a collapsible thimble which came in 2 parts from my Mothers travel sewing set, this is like the lower half of that, it will partially cover a pad of your finger, but not your fingertip as with traditional thimbles.The tape measure, though petite, goes to the full 60" and is a really handy size for if you're out shopping.There's one item, almost like a pair of tweezers, I have no idea what it's for, and having read the contents list, am non the wiser.Everything in the set seems of sturdy quality, and useful for my purposes. I'm very pleased I found this little gem.

Great little set for the price. Only drawback was that the plastic box was broken when it arrived but it doesn't matter as I had other places that I wanted to organise the items into.Good amount of bits for the price and great for beginners or those who need an extra couple of bits and bobs.
