Dimplex 402E Electric Convector Heater, White, 77.7 x 17.5 x 43.2 cm

This electric heater was good value for money. It is very fast at heating up a room. I really like the digital panel which is easy to read and allows you to set a maximum temperature.It has been used extensively since I bought it instead of the gas central heating.

Ours arrived broken, the temp up button wasn't working, but spoken to customer service and they solved the problem within minutes!Used these for years, probably one of the best ones out there, the thermostat makes them almost fully automatic!

Not as good as the old one it replaced as it doesn't give out as much heat even though it is the same wattage.It arrived early but when i took it out of the box the back panel was dented even though the package was undamaged.I normally would have returned the product if it was damaged but I was in a rush to use it in my caravan so didn't have the time to wait for a replacement.The timer function is a little bit tricky to use but works ok for my needs.

What I dislike is it has stopped working after such a short time and I don’t know what to do HELP please

First heater, needed to be returned as worked for less than an hour, replacement has been great so far. Heats room very quickly, is more or less silent. Controls are very easy. However will only display the desired temperature, not your room temp, so you simply hear an audible click when the heater reaches the desired temp cycling on/off. Timer is basic, hours to come on or set to hours to go off, no clock. But that is not an issue for my needs. For the price I would say it offers very good value for money and would recommend it, (room size 15m2)

A compact, easy to use heater, we placed on the wall in our conservatory. It's just powerful enough to take the chill off first thing in the morning and later in the evening when we eat our meals out there.

It’s ok but having a smart meter shows how costly it is to run
