Easy to install and looks great. It is aluminum (not steel) with a hard black finish. Has a slight rough texture. Again, it looks great. It is well engineered. I was concerned that it would be in direct contact with the headlight lens, causing dirt to build up, but that is not the case. As you can see in the pictures, there is an air gap between the guard and lens (likely poly-carbonate). I'm not sold on the utility aspect. I doubt that it will actually protect the lens from damage, as it is already recessed into the grill somewhat. If whatever damages the grill to the point where the headlights are no longer recessed, the guards will probably have little impact. It does appear to look as if it came from the factory this way, so A+ on the appearance (when parked and someone is looking at it close up). As other reviewers wrote, just reuse the factory bolts - they are plenty long enough and easier to fasten with a socket and ratchet rather than the supplied button head screws (requiring and allen wrench or hex driver), which appear to be good quality (stainless steel). Overall, pleased with the fit and finish of the installed product.

Ordered these for my JLU after searching various guards for my headlights. Installation was a breeze, just watch the how to video. I re-used the factory screws since they were just as long as the provided ones. Be sure not to overtighten the screws since even though the guard is metal the headlight assembly it is mounting to is plastic. The end result looks great and the guards are made fairly solid to provide decent protection.

Took all of about 10 minutes to install. Easy as screwing in a light bulb. They are made of very light aluminum but well crafted. Packaged very well because these aren’t made to be dropped so be careful not to. This is mostly cosmetic and they do look great. My only advice is if you don’t use locknut paste, you better use lock washers because the bumpy Jeep ride will most likely loosen them.

Watched YouTube. Few mins to remove grille. 3 bolts for each light housing. I reused factory number 10 bolts - Plenty long. Maybe 15 to 20 mins total start to finish. Take your time and it an easy mod. More for appearance than protection, but wanted something subtle to be a bit different.

A direct fit and very solid construction. Only bad part is that you have to remove the grill to install, but this makes it look cleaner.

Son enteramente de metal, muy duras y resistentes ante golpes, tienen un acabado estilo “raptor” o “ tipo bedliner” negro ligeramente rugoso al tacto. Vienen perfectamente empaquetadas en su caja original, muy bien protegidas y traen todo lo necesario para su instalación, solo necesitas un desarmador y listo, me tarde unos 20min en ponerlas, las instrucciones son muy claras y si tuvieras dudas hay varios tutoriales bastante claros. Sin modificaciones ni adaptaciones totalmente Plug n’ play!
