Handy little device
Great device to read the start and end gravity of my mash. Simple to use and easy to calibrate with the supplied screwdriver. See photos for packet contents.The one downside is that it doesn't come in a protective plastic case like my alcohol refractometer did.

I don't trust it so won't use it again.
Got this to help know when to bottle my beer. Followed instructions; distilled water registered 1.000 on the dot lit the box but when I tested a beer which my hydrometer said was at 1.008 the refractometer said 1.030. Which is nowhere near. It's done this on both brews. I've tried calibrating it to my hydrometer but the start reading was then off so I now don't trust it and feel I've wasted 20 quid.

You get what you pay for....
This is totally unreliable. I have to calibrate it every time I use it and it still doesn’t give the correct readings. I’m guessing as I’ve taken the time to use it a few times that I have now missed the return window. It will be going in the bin.

Pas hyper précis par rapport à mon hydromètre, mais c'est suffisant.Ce réfractomètre est surtout pratique car il permet de mesurer en ne prenant que quelques gouttes d'échantillon, ce qui permet de multiplier les mesures.

Augen auf! Hier passt es!
Diese Dinger aus China sehen auf dem Bild alle gleich aus, das ist das Problem. Hatte zuvor ein anderes hier gekauft, das war wirklich kein Vergleich zu diesem Refraktometer. Hier stimmt es einfach, die Verarbeitung ist recht hochwertig. Das Okular ist einfach anzupassen und funktioniert sehr gut. Die Ablesung der Ergebnisse ist problemlos möglich. Die Beschreibung in der Anleitung passt auch. Glück gehabt, beim zweiten Griff. Bin sehr zufrieden. Hoffe die Produktreihe behält die Qualität bei. Es gibt viele minderwertige Produkte die genauso aussehen! Leider. Also Augen auf beim Refraktometer- Kauf!
