Is over tape required?

It's not required but most players add their favorite tape/overgrip on top.

Will this fit a thin grip …4 1/8 grip?

We have seen and installed our grip in a Gearbox paddle with a 4 1/8 grip. The bottom part could not fit perfectly at first, but once you add an overgrip tape on top it will perform perfectly.

Size small or medium? How do I choose?

Measure the distance between the tip of your middle finger and the wrist. If the distance is lower than 7.5 inches, we recommend to go for the Small size. If the distance is higher than 7.5 inches, we recommend to go for the Medium size. Size S is suitable for players who are used to using only one overgrip over the traditional grip. Size M is recommended for those players who usually use two or more overgrips over the traditional grip. In any case, we suggest always using only one overgrip over Hesacore and choose the size according to the size of the hand.

Does the handle length matter? I have a crbn 1 elongated. Believe the grip length is 5.5.

We don't have an elongated version but we know some players have been using Hesacore on elongated handles.
