Reordered in the recommended size! See update.
UPDATE:I reordered these in a Medium which was the recommended size for me. Previously purchased a Large. For my size (8) and shape (pear), the extra material in the large did me no favors. The Mediums are great though! I was a little wary of the fabric being called cotton as I thought of them more as rayon (maybe they’re a blend?) but after laundering and ironing I would compare the fabric to a thin sateen cotton sheet. They feel cool to the touch like a percale cotton, but are super soft and silky like a sateen weave. Weird to be comparing them to sheets but it is what it is! They did slightly shrink after washing in cold and drying on low heat, and in my opinion look/fit even better overall after shrinking a little. I lost maybe 2” from the length but I can still wear them with flats, which is how I intended to wear them at home in the first place. I ironed them on the cotton setting with no issue. I’m quite happy with them. I have since also ordered another style of overalls by the same brand, but with pleats and a front pocket and I absolutely LOVE those. They have a more flattering fit for my shape and those I would actually wear outside of my home as they don’t look so much like loungewear. They are made of the same exact fabric as these which is what I was hoping for. I’m thrilled to have found them!Super soft material! Unfortunately, the fit was off for me. To be fair, I am a pear shape - small waist, wide hips - and it’s difficult for me to find jumpsuits that don’t make me look like a potato from behind. But the material was buttery soft, and flowy! And the black color was nicely saturated. They did only come to my ankles and I was surprised by that, but I would recommend if you’re 5’3 or under, and not an exaggerated pear shape, unless you just don’t give a crap what you look like from behind. I wish I didn’t lolI can’t comment on shrinkage because I only had them out of the bag for about 5 minutes. But if they’re true rayon, expect them to shrink by a couple inches. Or wash on cold and stretch them, then allow them to air dry.

Vibrant
First off I usually wear an XL at the sailor store and other places an XXL. I must have a long torso because I usually have to size up in a one piece like jumpsuits and overalls. I got a 3x for that reason. But an XXL would have been fine. The adjustable straps give a lot of length and for once I was able to make them shorter instead of maximum length. I absolutely don't care about the bagginess of the body because that's the style. I got the fushia pink and I love the color, just like the pic. Ill be wearing this to bum around on the beach later this week and this is one thing I'm looking forward to wearing. I went up a size or 2 over the last several years so it's hard to find anything that makes me feel good and is comfortable!

Would buy again
I love this. The colors are bright and vibrant, fitting loosely and accurately to size. I'm 5'6", about 128lbs, and I purchased a small. The pockets are big enough to hold your phone and keys. The fabric is thin and not the best, but I still like it and would purchase another one. I like that on the sides under your arms, it has a little elastic in the lining. I am disappointed in the length of the legs; the ones I got do not come all the way down to the floor; they're more capri in length. While I'm sure someone could dress this up, I am too casual and laid back. I wear a t-shirt or tank top under it and call it a day. Overall, I'm pleased with this, and I would buy another one.

Love this!!
I love this! It is very lightweight, which will be nice for spring and summer. I am 5 foot three. I am an hourglass at 170 pounds. With a 38 double D bust. I’m giving you all my details to help you figure out your size in dresses and in a line cut clothing. I typically wear a medium or a size 8 to 10. However, I was blessed with a Hiney that is a size 12 so on occasion if something cut snug, I have to go up to a large to accommodate for an ample bottom. On the romper, I washed it on cold on general cycle and I dried it in the dryer for about 15 minutes on medium and then once it was damp, I hung it dry. It did shrink a little bit. I bought a size large and it fits me perfectly. From now on I do plan on washing it on gentle and hanging it dry cause I don’t want it to shrink anymore. It is very pretty and for the price. I will get a lot of wear out of it this summer.! I would also know that if you’re taller definitely don’t put it in the dryer. Hang it dry because I am barely 5’3 and I do not have to hem this at all.

Usually a size small ordered a large
Happy Mother’s Day! I got this to add to my summer wardrobe and read all the reviews. I am an experienced seamstress who does major alterations so I ordered a large instead of a medium/small based on the reviews.1) the color is not the same as shown on the screen. Definitely not teal, nor sky blue as described. More of a light turquoise which will match with several shirts I currently own.2) the large is long enough for me to wear with the straps down (5’7” 130 pounds and flat chested) however, the crotch falls midway between my privates and my knees. This is definitely roomy in the hips and thighs making it comfortable to wear this summer at the beach.3) The tag says it is 100% cotton. It feels more like a soft bamboo rayon and I will wash the smell and wrinkles out using cold water as instructed and update.4) I will be altering by taking in the sides probably 1-2” each. This will still be roomy enough to get on. The thing I really like was the placement of the pockets. They are both on the side seam but inset with a placket. Deep and roomy for my cell phone in one and glasses in the other. The seams of the pockets were left raw. If this is truly 100% cotton this will fray and ruin the entire garment. (I will fix them before I laundered but for non sewers I highly recommend getting some “fray check”or using clear fingernail polish to secure them prior to washing)5) Final thoughts: these are cute, and have a palazzo width leg with a small slit at the ankle. Beware that they do not become capris as it will definitely affect the body image by cutting you off!
