A Call to Arms British At Rorke’s Drift Model Building Kit, 16 figures

These are very good little figures...I think?...I'm new to modelling and figure painting so I don't know what is good and bad yet...these look great once I got my scalpel and shaved all the bits of plastic off where the join was... from the mold I guess...Although I am having a lot of trouble making my paint stick?...I tried washing them in soapy water but the paint still flakes off if I look at them too hard...any ideas from the experienced modellers would be gratefully accepted...I use Vallejo acrylic paints and have just bought an airbrush and compressor kit thingy with some Vallejo Air paints but I haven't tried the airbrush out yet..maybe the airbrush paint will stick better?...then paint with my brush over it...please don't suggest any other brand of paint as I have bought the little suitcase kits from Vallejo...one for brushes paint and one with "Air" paint in them...72 colours in each case I think?...handy little cases to carry and store them in too...but they were not cheap as you probably all know...so I'm kinda tied into Vallejo paints now and won't be changing brands anytime soon hehehe...actually I love the paints they are great on my other models it's just these little figures it won't stick to?.......Help!...

These soldiers are brilliant, kept trying on eBay for some for my grandson who is fascinated by Rorke's Drift. Painted them ourselves and he was delighted!

A little on the small scale for 1:32 but with great detail.

My 6 year old loves them.

Just as it said on the box. My six year old wanted them to complement his Zulus from same period.
