It contains Maltodextrin, which like Glucose, is a carbohydrate, however it is a more complex structure and undergoes a different level of digestion to glucose Maltodextrin isn’t a simple sugar, it’s a polysaccharide (long chain carbohydrate) and whilst it can spike blood sugar levels, it doesn’t typically get included in sugar content on food labels.

Which enzymes does this product contain?

Reading the label of ingredients on my specimen: hypromellose, microcrystalline, alpha-amylase, protease, lactase, alpha-galactosidase, bromelain, lipase, cellulose, magnesium steerage, maltodextrin. I take this once a day with my main hot meal at lunch time and this does wonders for me. I have chronic digestive issues exacerbated by very bad histamine intolerance and this provides relief. Also helped my stool so am pretty sure it’s doing +ve things on my gut. I find this better than Daosin (specific enzyme for histamine breakdown) which cost me a fortune and just sits in led cabinet now! Also great that it doesn’t have any other ingredients as fillers.
