A Cable without Compatibility or Durability Issues that Supports the Latest Standards
My previous experience with a Maxonar product was with an HDMI-to-display port adapter. It worked great for several years. I decided to try them again since I needed a durable, quality USB-C cable that delivers the flexibility to connect to different USB-C devices, charge at high rates, and communicate using the latest USB4 or Thunderbolt 4 standards. I have a 2020 Mac Mini, 2024 Macbook Air, Google Pixel, iPhone, and iPad. I use a Thunderbolt 4 dock and a monitor with a USB-C port that supports power delivery and DisplayPort Alt Mode.I have not had any trouble interconnecting any of those devices in several configurations. I've reached the maximum charge for the devices that require charging. It's a thick cable that feels well-built and so far has handled everyday use. While I lack testing equipment to verify full compatibility with USB4 and Thunderbolt 4 standards, I have not encountered any behavior suggesting incompatibility that would impact my use cases. My data transfer speeds are at the expected speeds for the respective hardware. While it can charge all my phones and tablets to up to 100W, I cannot charge my phones with a case on because the connector housing is too large to fit through a phone case's port opening. But this cable wasn't intended for phones. It was made for computers, hard drives, connecting monitors, etc. It does all that very well so far.I like the packaging and presentation. It's nicely packed in a well-presented box instead of loose in a thin zip-lock-type bag. The connectors were protected with plastic covers. I recommend this to anyone who needs a well-built USB-C cable that supports USB4 and Thunderbolt 4 but doesn't want to break the bank.

Amazing quality, super fast!
Received this product a few days ago and immediately upon opening it, I tried a few different things. Super fast charging in mobile devices is no sweat for these cables. The 40Gbps speeds help considerably for devices that need low latency. I used it for wired play on an Xbox controller to my PC and it was phenomenal the difference it made for analog response. I also tried it on a Novation Launchpad Pro and the response times were almost instant minus the latency if the software.I would recommend this 1000% for anyone who needs a good quality cable with true thunderbolt 4 capabilities. As an added bonus, they included 2 velcro straps for storing the cable neatly when it is not in use.Amazing product! Great price!

Fast transfer speeds than stock iPhone USB-C cable
I bought this cable to take advantage of the faster transfer speeds of the iPhone 15 Pro. The USB-C cable included with the iPhone15 is only rated for USB 2 transfer speeds (480Mbps) even though the iPhone can handle 10Gbps. This Maxonar Thunderbolt 4 cable is rated for 40Gbps which is overkill for the iPhone 15 pro, but gives room for future proofing.Pros:* Thunderbolt 4 speeds* Price* Feels premium and durableCons:* Large port housing may not work for some iPhone cases (see attached image)Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase.

Excellent Thunderbolt Cable
I have a couple of anker thunderbolt cables which I connect to a couple of anker 747 chargers which I use to charge several Apple products like a m2 macbook pro laptop, iPad pro and a couple of theragun products with fast charging — these thunderbolt cables are a good length, are very sturdy and and provide the same excellent level of charging. Definitely worth a try.

Looks great, too bad it doesn’t work as good
Bought these because I wanted longer cables than what came with my new 12.9 iPad Pro, when I connected the new cable the iPad began to "bing" every few seconds too every few minutes. I checked the connections and found no problems. The "bings" would continue even when there was no movement of the device or cable. It acted as if the connection was disconnected and then reconnected. I have reconnected the original shorter cable and experiencing no problems. I have no idea what the problem with the Maxona cable is but it doesn’t work for me, but from the description it should, perhaps they are defective.

Not as durable as advertised
Update: Thanks for reaching out and sorting out my issue. Much appreciated.===It's barely 2 months since my purchase and I already have to bend the cable to get it working because it stopped working normally all of a sudden. I enjoyed using it at first because it charged my phone fast. I must have received a defective cable. My old charger cable lasted almost 4 years used with different devices and I never had to adjust it to work. It is a shame this new cable is already defective under 2 months!I've almost never written a review but it's been about few weeks since I contacted their customer care and I've not received as much as any acknowledgement. Poor product, poor customer service. This is bad. Will not recommend.
