So far so good
setup was so easy, no problem at all with the plug and play - the download of the driver was seamless and the extended dual monitor system automatically started operating correctly when I downloaded the display software on my macbook air. I previously bought and returned a cheaper dock from amazon since the display could only provide mirror use rather than extended use on my samsung dual monitors. I needed a dock that would be compatible with both mac and windows OS systems, so I could use with my personal macbook air laptop as well as with a work computer that will likely be a windows laptop or thinkpad, and be able to project extended screens from both laptops effortlessly to dual samsung monitors. So far so good. I will still need to setup my work laptop when that gets issued, so will update this review if I encounter any problems, but so far, I'd say this belkin dock is worth the pricier investment than the other dock systems I have looked into. the belkin also has plenty of space for additional plugins - right now I have bluetooth keyboard, bluetooth mouse, USB logitech webcam, and USB mouse jiggler. And I can also close my laptop during use without interrupting workflow on my monitors. Very satisfied so far.

Works great - 2 external 4k monitors
Love this dock! It has tons of connectivity options. 5 USB-A ports (4 rear, 1 front), can support 3 external monitors (first 2 with either DisplayPort or HDMI, 3rd is HDMI-only), 1 USB-C (front), Gigabit Ethernet (not tested by me), and both headphone and microphone analog connectors. A note, though, is that I only have 2 4K monitors, so can't comment on the 3rd. There is support for Apple, Windows, and most importanly for me, Linux (Ubuntu 24.04LTS). Setup was easy and straightforward with good information on the Synaptics website where the DisplayLink drivers may be downloaded. Everything worked perfectly for me, but I have seen reviews here where people have mentioned reliability issues. Stay tuned - I will updare if I run into issues, but for now, highly recommended!

DONT BUY Belkin or this docking station
purchased this for my home office. I wanted a high end piece of equipment that would be dependable so I can keep my home office up and running. The docking station sat on my desk and was not moved around. One morning it would not power up. I put in a service call. It is supposed to have a 2 years warranty. It looks 10 days to receive any response from Belkin. They had a copy of my receipt and everything is in order. They then sent me an email saying I need to box it up, pay for postage, and mail it to them. Upon confirmed receipt they say they will start to process my replacement which can take 7-10 business days before they even mail the warranty replacement.I will have to buy another dock while I am waiting on them to process the warranty replacement.IF YOU NEED YOUR HOME OFFICE FUNCTIONALLOOK FOR A DIFFERENT HUB!

Finally a high resolution high refresh rate dock for my M2 Air
I've been looking for a display link capable dock that will allow me to run both of my high resolution Dell monitors at decent refresh rates on my MacBook Air with M2. It took 3 different tries, but this one is able to detect and run the higher resolutions the same as my work MBP 14". I'm able to use either computer with the dock and it's working great. You do have to run the display link software, but it seems to be nice and stable! Will update if there are any changes.

Does exactly what I needed
I have a P14s ThinkPad. This works perfectly with it. I have 3 external monitors hooked up to it with this hub and they work flawlessly. I have also hooked up: wired printer, ethernet cable, 2 wireless dongles for MX Mechanical keyboard and MX Ergo trackball and wired speakers.Have been using this for months and couldn't be happier. Very simple set up and takes up next to no deskspace. Having 1 C to C cable between the hub and laptop is perfect. All other wires are out of the way and less clutter means less distractions.Highly recommended.

The Perfect Dock for Multi-Screen Extension on MacBook Pro
After a lot of struggle, I finally found the right dock for my devices. This dock supports multiple screen extensions on my 2020 MacBook Pro (Intel chip) with four Thunderbolt 3 ports. To use it, you need to install the DisplayLink software on your device. Fortunately, the installation process is simple and straightforward, not tedious at all.I highly recommend this docking station for anyone looking to extend multiple screens on a Mac device.

Once it is set up it is great
TLDR; Expensive, but this seems like the right solution for multimonitor on an M1 MacBook Pro. I am happy with it.Situation:My old multimonitor setup for my work issued M1 MacBook Pro stopped working after 3 years. I suppose that isn't bad for the cheaper option but now I am willing to spend more money on a reliable hub. I did a lot of research and this is the top pick to make the stupidly designed M1 MacBook Pro work with 2 external monitors (possibly more).Other things you will need to make it work:-You will need a Thunderbolt cable to go from the laptop to the hub. It does not come included with the hub.-You must install and run DisplayLink Manager to make the whole thing work. If your monitors aren't displaying anything, check to make sure that is running, then check that everything is plugged in.-After the steps above, if you want to update anything you should now be able to do so under System Settings > Displays. You'll now see all of your displays there.Initial setup cons that don't matter after setup:-The power cord kept falling out of the hub's socket.-When plugging in anything new, like a USB camera, the hub would go dark and I'd have to restart it.I hope that helps you make a decision and saves you time getting this to work!

Terrible experience buying this product.
The product does not work as advertised. I returned it the same day, it’s been 30 days and I am still waiting for my refund. It is impossible to contact the seller and Amazon is NOT helpful. $200+ less and I am out of money to buy a hub that really works. I do not recommend this product nor the seller. I gave one star because I have to. They don’t even deserve that.
