Is this suitable for young children as fur sheds dreadfully?

I bought this for 2 to 4 year old children in nursery I worked for. This is the best quality among 3 other ones which were much cheaper than this. I am not sure how young is your child but this is a good quality and i had no problem for 2 year old children.
