It already has a locking mechanism. It locks with a little button on the top or bottom of the knob. And this doorknob is GEORGOUS!!!

I need 2 handles and 1 dead bolt all keyed the same, can I get that?

I haven't installed my door handles yet but it did come with 4 keys. It should say in the description of the item if all 4 keys unlock both locks. I will say they are very nice door handles
