After spending a lot more money to replace my GE filters, I tried this one and am very pleased with the water quality, easy installation andmost of all, price!

These were a perfect fit for the GE FQSVF undermount 2 filter sink filter system. They have an extra set of O-Rings in them that do not seem necessary because the filter system has O-rings, but they fit tight and were well-sealed with no leaks.

After I got over my anger at GE for not providing cost-effective filter replacements for my FQSVF water system (really, GE? really?!), I considered the Tier 1 and the slightly cheaper Aquacrest filter replacements. After reading the "horror stories" about ill-fitting replacements (and poor water flow), I decided to buy the more expensive Tier 1 filter.I'll keep it simple: I had NO PROBLEMS installing these; they twisted into place quite easily and seemed to fit very securely. There was excellent water flow immediately; there was some air "in the system". I let the water run for a couple minutes and everything worked out perfectly. No cloudiness and good water flow. I hope these filters continue to be available when I next need to replace them.
