It does not require the ARK 705 and works great without it!

Is the 90 degree bnc to so-239 connector included?

Yes, everything you need including tools is included in the package.

What is the little hex wrench used for?

The hex wrench is to install the VERY small Allen head screw you may have missed in the parts inventory and therefore thrown away. My one complaint about the RC-2 is that the Windcamp people didn't take the time/effort to thread it into the adapter so people wouldn't lose it. Seeing the Allen wrench, I paused and re-checked the plastic bags.

Bnc adapter durability issues - has the manufacturer upgraded this component? any recent buyers, say oct, nov 2022 maybe? thanks!
