How much does this cushion weigh?

My home scale showed 5 lbs. It's hefty enough to hold up when sitting directly on it during yoga. As it has a handle sewn in, its very easy to carry.

Is this high enough that your knees will point down when sitting on it?

I find it very comfortable. Your knees will still be out front. It is not high enough to have you kneeling. But all of your weight is supported by the cushion. I hope that helps.

I weighed it on my kitchen food scale and it weighs 5-1/2 lbs.

Are the pleats along the side of the cushion uncomfortable when sitting? I feel a smooth surface may be better? Thanks!

I sit near the edge of the pillow to keep my torso upright and I don't feel the pleats so I don't think they are an issue. The cushion is filled with buckwheat hull so it is not soft and comfy to sit on long periods but I have a pretty flat butt so that's probably why it's harder on me! However, no complaints sitting on it for an hour 4-5 times a week; it does the job just fine.
