The media could not be loaded. I have never owned a chainsaw, I am very impressed with this electric convertible pole saw and chainsaw for it's price. It cuts very well. I have 4 trees on my property that needed to be pruned, along with a neighbor's tree in my back yard that consistently needs to pruned to keep the branches from extending too far in my yard. After paying someone to trim my tree's I finally decided to start doing it myself. I was looking at some non-mechanical options when I came across this, the price was right so I purchased it. It was easy to put together, and within 20 minutes I was outside taking out branches. This thing cuts very smoothly. This pole saw has worked very well to trim branches that are higher up and then remove the pole and use its chainsaw to chop up the branches into 4 ft or smaller pieces for local yard pick up.After around 20 minutes of work I had a pretty good pile of branches. To think I used to pay someone $200-$300 a year to prune my trees and carry away the branches! Although it's mostly plastic, it seems well built. Clever and simple design to go from pole saw to chainsaw and visa-versa. It is a little top heavy with the chainsaw mounted on top of the pole when extended, but manageable; would be nice to have a shoulder support strap.

the product itself is amazing...once you figure it out. if you get it figured out theres small pins that have to be aligned. if its not it wont work at all. gotta take it apart to get the connectors out if you put it in wrong. otherwise fantastic. it cut through MASSIVE limbs in my back yard. some limbs were almost 17 inches thick.

Lightweight keeps you off ladder’s. Can cut at different angels and adjustable lengths.

I received this item with no problems. As I don't trim trees everyday, I did not open it immediately. Once I got it out and attempted to work on my trees, I discovered it doesn't work. I tried multiple cords, multiple plugs. ZERO! It makes NO noise. I press the 2 buttons and NOTHING. This thing doesn't "sort of" work. It isn't being used wrong. It flat DOES NOT GET POWER. By the time I went back and forth with their "customer service" it was too late to return. Now I'm just stuck with the piece of trash because I thought I could get some quick help and it would be a simple issue. My bad for assuming the best. DO NOT BUY THIS THING

Assembly instructions vague. Awkward to use. It gets the job done trimming my Queen palms.

Hard to manage on some branches would not cut thru - chain kept coming off

For the past few years we have hired a gardner to come in and cut off all the over grown and dead branches hanging from our trees. I always cringe while handing over the money because I know it is something my husband and I could probably do however we didnt have the proper equipment and I never took the time to look and see what a pole saw would actually cost. To my surprise it really wasnt very costly. It arrived in only a few days and it much longer than I expected but thats a good thing. I went with the 10ft option because we have some pretty tall trees. I am actually pretty pleased with how straightforward the operation of the saw is. All you have to do is connect the saw to the pole and you can control it with a single button. You set the angle of the saw, it is adjustable if you need to move it. Once you get it up in the air it is a tad top heavy but nothing that is unmanageableq. I was surprised at how smooth it cuts through the branches. I assumed it would be a fight and there would but alot of manual labor however that wasnt the case at all. I do suggest you have atleast 1 more person to work with so that they can keep an eye on the branches you are cutting to make sure everyone is safe. We haven't been able to use it a whole lot since we are still in the middle of winter and there snow on the ground. Soon enough we will be getting our yard work done and putting this new tool to good use. It can be used as a mini chain saw also so if you have some lower brush to clean up it is dual purpose. We ar very happy with this saw so far. I have never been more excited for spring to arrive. It is quiet possible we may get carried away and chop all the trees in the yard! Its fun to use.

Very short , top heavy , 110 inches isn’t much for tall trees .
