I opened my packet today & found that the base has not been packed in the set.

This heavy duty marble towel holder is well made, arrived well- packed, and is lovely on my marble design laminate work top. One of its best features is the soft felt on the bottom, so it glides over the work top when pulled out. Won't get worktop scratches with this!

Had to return as damaged which seems to be common with this product!
