wow - this is intense
I bought this as I had pneumonia and bronchitis. My throat hurt, I was coughing non stop and I was miserable. Ok, first of all, one spray, do not do more than one spray the first time. This was so intense, I was sure I could breathe fire. I couldn't have coughed if I wanted too. No idea if there was a taste , I was so numb. I gave this a four rating, cause I couldn't feel my throat or cough so it worked as advertised. Here is my truth, too intense, I did not use it more than once. HOWEVER it does exactly what it says.

Works very well for throat pain
The spray works very well to numb and smoother the throat. My major complaint is that no matter how close you can get to your throat, it ends up making your entire mouth numb most times. It’s not a great taste but there’s definitely worse out there. It’s only really effective for about an hour before you have to use it again but for $7 it’s worth it.

IMPOSSIBLE TO AIM SPRAY AT SORE AREA
The idea is good. But the spray nozzle thingy does not aim right toward the back of the throat. First of all, when trying, put your tongue down and make as much space as possible so you have a better chance at aiming back there. If you miss, you can't just keep spraying and spraying because you're not supposed to swallow this... You can't have too much of it due to the dosage. You have to spit it out after you swish it around in your mouth. You can swish with or without water... It's weird. It's a weird concept and the reason I do not recommend it is because you do have to spit it out. If I could swallow it and have the numbing relief, it'd be awesome. The numbing only happened on my tongue or part of my gums or mouth skin that got the poorly aimed spray. Swishing it around was hard because I was so panicked that I'd accidentally swallow it. I timed myself and swished for the recommended time. The numbing only lasted a few minutes in the area of the skin that it actually touched before swishing. I tried to send it back but it's not returnable. I did receive a refund, though. I had to chat with customer service though.
