Q: How soft is the shoulder strap. I find rope slings rub my collar bone and are uncomfortable. Any thoughts on straps softness?

Straps are wide enough that they sit comfortably on your shoulder. I’ve never had an issue with rubbing. I’ve worn it front, back and side. Every way is comfortable and have gotten so many compliments in public about the bag.

I bought the olive green bag and it looks greener than the picture to me. The picture seems to have no green in it at all, only gray. I would describe it as an "army green" or "drab green". It's fairly neutral and subdued. I was very pleased with it as I did want a touch of green in it.

The pockets are easy to get into. I put an iPad in the one pocket. The very front one is for only for something small, like credit card or phone. I enjoyed my Backpack for I used it when we went on vacation . I could wear it over the shoulder , cross body , or as a backpack.
