Does compact mean a smaller head than the regular?

Yes. The handle length is regular length but the brush head is smaller. Both my husband and I use the compact because we find Yes.

Has anyone seen their dentist after using this for 6+ months? Is it really getting your teeth clean? It feels too soft to be doing a good job.

it is doing a great job-- i had too much plaque on a back molar before using this brush and my dentist said to try to brush better in that area, and at next check up if it wasn't better she might have to remove the tooth if it is still plaque encrusted and heading towards cavity/ infection. So I bought these toothbrushes and in 6 months, all my teeth looked great with very little plaque. And I had always thought a stiff brush was better-- WRONG!
