Can I wash the fabric if this comfy chair gets dirty

The cover has a zipper so it is removable from the comfy chair and apparently washable.I love the design.

Is it firm? it will fall flat when you lean on it? I am a fat guy.

The stretchy covers that have the elastic that hugs the chairs- Are just about an inch too small in width in fabric. I just tested them out for you and it didn’t fit. :(
