Fun little learning tool
The LeapStart is a handy learning tool for little ones, that is cleverly disguised as a toy. I bought this for my nephew and he loves it. What's nice about it is the ability to add more books to his collection, that get steadily more advanced as he progresses.One thing to note is the process of loading books onto the LeapStart itself. It's a little bit fiddly with the need to connect the device to a PC, where you manage your book library through LeapFrog Connect software. You have to do this for every book you buy for it, and the device can only hold so many books at a time. Just something to keep in mind, especially if you are thinking of gifting it.

Great learning toy
My three year old has this and a few of the books - she can play independently and the tasks are generally good for her learning.I did not realise when buying however the cost of the individual books - the cost can rack up quickly if you’re wanting a few for your child to rotate with.
