No squeaky noise. Perfect Break Job
Perfect for greasing caliper slides. It seems pretty durable after 1250 miles and doesn’t cause anything to stick. This grease works great especially with protecting rubber. In addition, the price of the product is very reasonable compared to others. Highly recommended this grease if you do break jobs, but make sure it’s compatible first.

So much better than regular grease!
This works so much better than regular or even high temp grease for disc brakes. After cleaning out the old grease I used this and then on the next brake pad change was amazed to see how well it held up and how it did not collect dirt and brake dust. It is super easy to apply and is well worth the few extra dollars to use the right grease for the right application.

Solid Product
Did its job well. Used to lubricate brake parts during reassembly. I have not heard any squeaking or creaking after use.

Pretty good stuff for a lot of things, but NOT on rubber !
Did my 1st brake job, front ceramic pads & new rotors. Videos on YouTube & a lot of auto parts stores (local & online) say when using lubricant for the wheel, brake, rotor parts, to use High Temp grease/lubricant. This was the highest temperature rating I could find, plus ceramic. I guess you can use it to lube a lot of things... IDK ? BUT, it did say on the back "do not use on rubber" !Nylon, plastic....again IDK ? BUT, so far the front brakes are doing really well & I saved a bunch of $$$ doing the work myself....

Good stuff.
Good brand, good quality, good price, and a good size.I bought new front brakes from Powerstop, got this lube and bought the larger size for my brakes, and my two sons since they replace brakes more often. My son recommended this to me, I’ve used other Permatex products before, always been satisfied.

Squeaky Brakes No More – This Stuff Works Wonders!
I was honestly blown away by how well this brake squeak remover worked. My bike brakes had been squealing like crazy, and it was driving me (and everyone around me) nuts. I tried a few other tricks, but nothing really made a difference—until this.Applied it once, and almost instantly the noise was gone. The brakes still feel strong and responsive, just without the annoying screeching sound. It was super easy to apply, and I didn’t need to take anything apart or do anything complicated. If you’ve got squeaky bike brakes and are looking for a quick, effective fix, this is it. Worked wonders for me—I’d definitely buy it again!

Great quality brake grease for your brakes
#####Updated Review on Sept 26, 2025###After about 5 years of first installing the brake rotors and pads on my vehicle, I have revisited my vehicle brakes as I noticed a squeaking sound coming from the rear brakes and to my dismay the pads on rear wheel on one side is completely worn out while the other side was half left. I also noticed uneven wear on the inside brake pads (hub side) on two of my wheels; moreover, 2 out of 4 wheels had seized caliper pins stuck inside the caliper bracket.Turns out this grease is good for the metal to metal contact surfaces such as brake pads, behind the rotors, hubs, abutment clips etc. but NOT recommended for the caliper sliding pins as the chemical in this product is known to interfere with the rubber boots especially the caliper dust boots and caliper trailing pin boots (pins with a boot) .The recommended grease for the caliper pins based on the service manual is High temperature silicone grease that can withstand the extreme high temperatures generated during extreme braking. Silicon is also safe for rubber boots and parts and will not gunk up at high temps; it will also aid in the back and forth caliper pin movement.#####Original Review on May 10, 2021####I purchased this per a recommendation from my mechanic friend who taught me how to replace brakes and brake pads. The quality of this brake grease is very good compared to the regular grease as this is specifically made for the brakes to last longer withstanding extreme temperatures such as rain, heat, cold, lots of dust, grime without creating brake noise, corrosion and for the greater good of your brakes. My friend mentioned that this grease lasts forever as he found the grease still existing on one of the car brakes that he previously installed almost a decade ago when he opened at a much later time to replace them. It is important to remember that one doesn't remove brake rotors and/or brake pads unless they have an issue with them, damaged and needs replacement. So, it's better to use the grease that can last long as there is no point in settling for anything less that cannot serve it's purpose.Use it as a thin coat on the brake caliper slide pin to ensure the back and forth movement happens without much resistance, behind the brake pads where the pistons come in contact and also on the place where the brake pad clips meet the brake mount.Overall a great quality and highly recommend this without any hesitation. Moreover, I found that Amazon has the best price around and is always in stock as some of my local auto stores did not have this particular product in stock.
