Serengeti Men's Velocity

I bought these glasses because I've never paid over $20 bucks for a non-prescription pair of sunglasses, and I decided to treat myself to a nice pair. The draw was that these are geared towards pilots, and I was a student pilot in need of new glasses. They are very comfortable, stylish, and block the sun out great. They fit perfectly under my David Clark H10-60s - not interference.The glasses are not polarized, and have a driver's gradient. They are supposedly photochromic - I haven't really noticed them darkening and lightening, but it may just be very subtle.They come with a very large, but nice hard cover clamshell case. Inside is a care manual, glasses in a plastic wrap, and a microfiber cloth.My only complaint is the microfiber cloth it comes with leaves a lot of tiny little fibers on the glass lenses. They look like scratches, but it's just pieces of the fiber cloth coming off. So the cleaning cloth actually makes the glasses kinda dirty. Aside from that - they are very nice, lightweight, and they seem durable. Only time will tell - I haven't dropped them yet, and I put them in the case as soon as I take them off.

I am an Airline Pilot and one of my quests was to find the perfect sunglasses for a Jet cockpit with Electronic Displays, always had the problem that I couldn't see the displays in the cockpit clearly, so I had to sacrifice by taking off my glasses to be able to read the displays and suffering the glare of the sun.After searching forums and reading all the possible reviews, I decided to order the Serengeti Velocity Gradient 6692, I took them with me on my next flight, I put them on and WOOOW, AMAZING, very light frame, extremely comfortable even after hours of wearing them, and the Glare is so much filtered that u can basically open your eyes wide and still feel comfortable with the light. and as the glasses are gradient, when i looked down I could see my electronic displays much better than before.for all you pilots looking for the perfect sunglasses, Serengeti is the answer. the technology is amazing. I definitely recommend it for people who drive or for pilots.

I wasn't too sure about these glasses at first as they are heavier than my plastic lensed Serengetis, but after making a few adjustments, I have come to love these glasses. I would have preferred some different color lenses (these have the driver's lenses which eliminates most of the blue light leaving the sky with a brownish-yellow appearance...which I should be used to living in West Texas). They are comfortable and wrap around enough so that I don't notice any edge glare. I wanted some glass lenses as it seems the plastic lenses in other sunglasses seem to scratch rather easily. These seem like they will be more durable, plus they come with a nice, hard-shell case and chamois like cleaning cloth. Very happy with these and would recommend to others.

My second pair. Left the first pair in a golf cart in AZ 2 weeks ago. Someone is enjoying them!!! They are really an exceptional pair of sunglasses. The frames put up well the abuse I give them. I love the wrap style. Quality of lenses can't be beat. No glare and even work well in some low light situations, though they are not necessarily recommended for that. Serengeti is still the best in my book.

I drive a truck and can't imagine being without these. Lightweight, stylish, comfy and I get a headache if I go without em. Little pricey but well worth it imo. You won't find anything like these @ the gas station or wally world unless they have an optical center, cheap ones do not compare in any way. I've dropped mine a couple times forgetting I had them on & they didn't scratch a bit. I only gave 4 stars because of the price but these are the only ones I'll wear anymore, my eyes have become accustomed to them.

Fantastic sunglasses !! The wrap around style covers peripheral vision ,everything is sharp & clear & they darken in bright light.. High quality metal frame fits perfectly. Serengeti makes the BEST DRIVING GLASSES, hands down !! Been wearing them since the 80s . I have 2 pair...one STAYS in my car & this pair which I use as my go to every day pair. Also great for outdoor wear when hiking

My eyes became very light sensitive after years of submarine duty, so I have been wearing Serengeti sunglasses with driver lenses exclusively since the mid-1980's. I bought these to replace a pair of Serengeti Carini's that someone liberated from my checked luggage. Since those are getting hard to find and quite expensive, I got these Velocity. I like the style; like a pair of modernized aviators without the dated teardrop shape. They are light, comfortable, and as always, the protection and clarity of the lenses can't be beat. (I still miss my Carinis though)

OK, here it is. This pair of sun glasses is very good. Not great due to one major and one minor flaw. The major flaw is they are not glare resistant from the back. When the sun is at your back you have a lot of glare on the inside of the lens. During a showdown with these babies you will actually be better off having the sun at your 12 o'clock position. The minor flaw is they sit really close to the eye and my eye lashes rub streaks on the inside of the lenses Maui Jim's are better, but at twice the price?

El armazón es de Titanio, por lo que son ligeros y muy resistentes. Los cristales son resistentes a las rayaduras, pero no imposibles de que se rayen, Como recomendación usa siempre el estuche duro con el que vienen para guardarlos y el paño especial para limpiarlos. Los cristales son polarizados y además son fotogray, por lo que se oscurecen en exteriores y se aclaran en interiores. Son de los mejores lentes que existen en el mercado, muy superiores a lentes de diseñados o de marca que son mucho mas caros.

l"emballage n'était pas en bon étatle produit livré n'était pas le bonen plus, le revetement du verre laissait à désirerles plaquettes de nez étaient rabattues sur le verreheureusement, le retour n"a posé aucun problèmeje vois maintenant que le même modèle es toujours proposé à la vente -> comment être sûr que c'est le bon ? et en bon état ?

Son excelentes éstos lentes. Sobre todo para manejar. Traen armazón de titanio y son fotocrómicos. Lástima que son mas bien para alguien con cara mas grande que yo. Debido a que no me quedaron bien los tuve que regresar y terminé comprando el modelo Norcia de la misma marca.
