Does this connect directly to the phone or is it Bluetooth only?

Will this headset work with Skype running on a Mac?

Yes. Phone. PC. Notepad. Surface--whatever- as long as you configure the device and then the application. I use it with Go To meeting, WebEx Lync, 8x8, Skype any audio file and have it config'd for multiple systems.

Does this unit include the wireless ear piece? Also, does this unit come with the Jabra LINK 14201-19?

The unit does include the wireless earpiece which I have been told by my customers is very clear. I'm not sure what 14201-19 is but I did have to purchase Jabra LINK 14201-17 for my Polycom phone system. Hope this helps

Great unit, doesn't last as long as you would hope. Good warranty coverage.

As much as I love the functionality of this unit, I'm on my third one in five years. I do use this unit 5 days a week for 8 hours a day though. They seem to last about a year and a half to two years before the hardware starts to malfunction or the unit starts to fall apart. Other than that, these are great, just plan to replace every second year or so.GN Netcom is good with the warranty though, they gave me a new unit free of charge with no hassle for my second headset as it failed while still under warranty.

Ear piece falls apart after about a year

I have purchased two of these. After about a year or so the ear piece starts to fall apart and it becomes useless. I do not see a place where I can just purchase the earpiece again.
