A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving Paperback – Picture Book, 6 September 2016

A great traditional book for children about Thanksgiving- and it's Charlie Brown! Purchased as part of a Thanksgiving package for grandchildren. A bit steep on the price, however, will pay because of tradition, and it's Charlie Brown.

Another Peanuts book to my collection.

Started introducing my kids to Peanuts last year as the holidays were coming up. The kids really took to the Charlie Brown Thanksgiving movie (moreso than Halloween, but also later enjoyed Christmas too).Purchased this book adaptation and quite happy with it. It's true to the movie, with the normal minimal trimmings which normally reduce the more outdated references. One really small regret are those outdated references because there are one or two that my kids love saying, even if no one talks like that anymore (eg. You're holding my hand Chuck, you sly dog).But overall a great adaptation and way to reinforce reading for kids that enjoy the Peanuts as much as we did as kids.

This was a great book. Well written, full sentences. I find that many children's books will now mostly consist of sound effects. 👀 and very few concrete sentences. This is not one of those books. My 5 yo enjoyed it, and I enjoyed re- reading one of my childhood favorites to him.

Our youngest son is a huge fan of Charlie Brown and Snoopy. We first ordered The Great Pumpkin near Halloween. The book is wonderful, true to the story you see on tv and beautifully illustrated. We then ordered the Thanksgiving book and Christmas. Our son was thrilled with these and they are one of his favorite things to read at bedtime.
