Love the bike but PAS1 comes on way to hard and gets to 10.5 mph very quickly, Read Update
I must say this bike is built hell for stout. everything looks to be well made. The cargo rack is much better on the Speedrid than other bikes. I do have a few issue's with bike though. My main complaint is with PAS level 1 when you start pedaling the power comes on fast and hard and before you know it you are doing over 10 mph and there is a delay when the motor disengages after you stop pedaling, I'm thinking that being on a narrow bike path with other riders and runners this could be dangerous. Or making a U turn and pedaling could put you into a curb. I think that pedal assist should be at about 6 mph and manageable. The other issue is the handle bars, I am over 6 foot tall and the bars all the way down is ok for me but if your 5'2" they would be over your shoulders this is like riding a motorcycle with ape hangers, not the best control of bike. I bought this bike for my wife that's 5'2" and cut 2" off the handle bar stem so they would go all the way down and I may have to cut more we'll see what she thinks. The seat goes plenty low enough for shorter people. Last thing the bike came with an Ok assembly book but no information on operation or the control LCD. Buy any thing now days and you get a huge book on operation, not with this bike and it seems many of the other E-bikes out there also, this seems odd to me.Don't get me wrong this is great bike but it could be much better with a little more effort from the manufacture to make it more user friendly to more people.Update 6/15/21I was able to find online how to get in the advanced menu and set the speeds for the Pedal assist modes and now the bike is much more manageable. I did shorten the frame at the seat post by 1/2 inch and cut 1 3/4inch off the handle bar post to lower it. This is the bike my short (5'1") wife wanted so I had to make it work. I have also replaced the seat post with a better one and the seat with a bikeroo seat she is much happier now. Just a note download the controller manual and understand what setting you are changing you can make a mess of things if you are not carful. Ask me I know! I am changing the rating to 5 stars reluctantly the bike should have come with a manual for the control panel.Ps I found the download for the control on Utube.

Range is better than advertised!
I took this guy out on a 35 mile range using 95% pedal assist lvl 1, 5% full electric. I had 3 bars of battery left. Only used higher watts (300+) when going up steep hills and in full throttle mode. I would say there was ~43% battery after the 35 mile ride so the advertised 20-40 mile with only pedal assist can't be broken. I feel as if I can get 50-60 miles on a full charge with only pedal assist lvl 1.Took it off road a bit on my 35 mile ride and it Randle the bumps and rocks grade while going up and down hill. Never got stuck in the wet mud, just rode right over it and sand didn't stop me either. Uses a bit more voltage while off road. My commute was mostly on the road/bike lane.Only con I have is that the seat is cheap and hurts. I got a aftermarket seat with shock absorption and it made a huge difference in the comfort for long ride.I'm a strong guy so the weight doesn't bug me and the folding ability let's me put it in my trunk without needing to lower the back seats.

Not suited for people 5'6 and less.
Just got the bike.Positive:Nice fabrication.Assembles quickly.Arrived with battery with good charge so no wait for test ride.Rides niceNegative:Not at all suited for someone below average height. I'm 5'6" and this is a border ergonomic mess for me. Most likely I'll take to a machine shop and have them cut down the stems on the handlebars so that it is a comfortable ride.At 30 psei as indicated on tires it bottoms out the fork and the tire on smaller bumps taken at speed.Overall not upset about the purchase... it'll do what I want but not ecstatic about it either....

Be careful when purchasing.
Bike is good, seems like something you would buy on Wish.com. Can tell this company is foreign, customer service only responds at midnight on West coast USA, bike is non refundable. Had stripped pedals and problem with flat tire, They tried to make it right, but bad English and responding only at midnight made the remedy long and tough. To Summarize bike comes fast, service and replacement parts slow. I had to pay a bike shop to fix my issues, about 100 bill. I would NOT recommend nor would I purchase from again.

Thrilled with the Speedrid 4x20 Ebike
I'm 72 years old, 6ft, 190 lbs and this bike is perfect for me. Now have 468 miles on it riding mostly local bike trails in PAS 1. I put a different seat on it right away. Learned how to adjust the brakes viewing utube videos and also learned how the screen works on utube. Also advise oiling up the chain and derailleur before putting too many miles on it, makes a huge difference in shifting gears ;)Arrived on time, was easy to finish assembly and is as advertised.

Excellent purchase
Item received on time and as described. The bike itself is solid and strong. I’m glad I bought the 500w. It also fits well in my BE-35 Bonanza’s cargo. Now I don’t have to worry about ground transportation when I land.
