Using the proper ink in your printer DOES make all the difference in the world. I have used substitutes with older printers and you do get what you pay for. Would recommend to others.

I wish I can give this ZERO stars! The ink cartridge did not work! I should have listened to the other reviews. It printed one page and then my printer said it was low on this color ink again! This is a rip off!

I wanted the BLACK cartridge, but due to the appearance of the packaging ended up with the blue. They wouldn't take it back.

Epson 78 OEM cartridges have performed perfectly in both of my Epson printers for more than ten years.

I was sent 3 cartridges without Epson packaging. It was in Epson cartridges and vacuum sealed. However it makes me uneasy using product that is not in the cartridge packaging. I would have preferred to have this information available in the description ahead of time.**Month later: the ink does work and so far we haven't had any issues.

Perfect replacement., tried the COSTCO refillable and it did not work. The old cartridge which was refilled at COSTCO was not recognized by the printer.

I purchase this cartridge for my EPSON R280. They are very easy to replace. I do not replace the cartridge until the printer refuses to print. You will get a warning light and splash screen warning that the cartridge is low. I use the warning to order the cartridge. I get to print quite a few photos before the cartridge really needs replacement.
