Crown is small so it doesn't pierce and hurt my hand
It's a small size watch and crown is positioned at low. That makes it more comfortable when you support yourself with a hand gesture. It doesn't hurt your hand since it is not piercing. Also for the price it looks elegant.

Rolex look without the Rolex price.
So if you're an amateur watch nerd like myself you'll notice this watch looks like a mix of Rolex Explorer and Oyster Day/Date. That's what caught my eye at first and enjoy wearing it. It's not the toughest watch in the world but as long as it's wound it keeps accurate time for the week or so I wear it, I rotate through my watches so I never wear any one long enough to see the accuracy over a month or more. This movement does not have a manual wind feature so you have to either at least wear it every other day or gently wave the watch back and forth for 30 seconds and then set the time before you wear it.The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I'm not the biggest fan of the bracelet. It's folded metal links with flat clips rather than solid links and cotter pins. Plus the lugs are unusually narrow so finding a replacement bracelet or strap is going to be challenging.

It’s also only somewhat water resistant . Read the full description before buying it.
Since it’s a self wind watch it has no battery and if you don’t wear it everyday it stops working. But I do really like the watch so that’s not a problem for me.

Not what I expected.
I bought this looking for an alternative to my Hamilton. I didn't want to wear my nice watch to work everyday and have it getting destroyed so this seemed like a reasonable stand in. I really like automatic watches so after reading the reviews I wound up with this thing. The watch keeps pretty good time it seems to be about +15 seconds a week give or take. The face is easy to read and the day indicator is a plus. However it wasn't quite what I was expecting. The bracelet is cheap and flexes a ridiculous amount and you can see on the sides of some of the links where they didn't grind down the metal, it looks like pieces of metal were presses together to make each link and there are big gaps on the sides. The bracelet clinks around, it sounds like I'm wearing a chain on my wrist which can be annoying at times. The movement is jumpy and nowhere nearly as smooth as my Hamilton or other automatic watches but then again for $70 what do you expect. My biggest qualm with this watch is that there is no manual wind feature. Even though it says so in the owners manual turning the dial does not wind the watch so if i don't wear it for a few days i have to stand there and shake it to get a wind going. All in all it does what I need it to in terms of time keeping but the quality is third par and isn't a good representation of Seiko watches.

Seiko s.s. watch
This Seiko wrist watch ha a decent appearance; I had to spend extra money to have the band by a jeweler. The watch will not keep time and needs to be reset every day; this is just frustrating after spending considerable money.

I ordered this watch for my husband's B-Day. My husband has a very particular taste and is difficult to please. As soon as he saw the watch he immediately loved it! It is shinny and has a classic look to it. It looks more expensive than it is.

Hard to beat for the price
The media could not be loaded. For $110 you can't beat this Seiko 5. It looks pure class and it fits my 6in wrist quite nicely. I added a pic with my dw5600 for comparison. I tested how long it'll keep running after taking it off, and I got around 20hrs. Just don't move your wrist around too much or you'll hear the awful integrated bracelet that makes it sound like you have a rat infestation.
