Finnex Planted+ 24/7 LED KLC Aquarium LED Light, Controllable Full Spectrum Fish Tank Light, 36 Inch

I read a few bad reviews about the 24/7 LED light. Then I realized there was a newer version (V2) with many improvements. So far the light works great and the programming was very easy. My family and friends thinks it looks great too.

Perfect, clear color spectrum and precise control. You can use the default 24/7 setting or custom 24/7 setting. Color shift is so seamless it happens as you watch.

I bought these two replace some other lights I had. The previous ones gave out after a year and only lit blue.These are much nicer with a very nice bright white and strong colors.Love that it is programmable and that it has the auto 24/7 feature.They are a bit pricy so hopefully they last since I had to buy multiple to fit my 72” aquarium. So far my plants are doing well and the fish love the subtle lighting change depending on time.The only problem I have is the range of remote. I literally have to stand a foot away near the sensor for it to work.

Based on reviews only, I had actually recommended Finnex to several people in the hobby both on facebook and in my personal life before actually trying them out for myself. Before, I had 3 years worth of running 3ft coral light t5s for my aquarium which I thought was great. I bought and installed a 125g fresh water tank and I switched over to this brand and style when I needed something new to replace what I had before. The color difference and view clarity was almost night and day compared to my t5 lamp. My plants were already growing like crazy with the t5s but now, their growth rate seems to yield a much healthier, fuller plant with thicker roots and greener foliage.The controls are very easy to use and understand. One remote does work for multiple lamps, thats always a plus for me. The blinking blue light to confirm your programing changes is easy to see. The clear legs they give to stand this light up above the rim are snug and can be reversed if needed and do fit most aquariums.I would say that overall, I am pretty satisfied with this product and look forward to recommending it more in the future.I'll update this review with pictures as soon as I do some manicuring.

The light worked with the remote no problem, even though setting up a light schedule was not straightforward. Condensation accumulated under the protective plastic strip. The light dimmed and would not turn on, even after changing the batteries in the remote and other trouble shooting. I purchased the light only 6 months ago.

I am from South Africa and here we do not have a selection like you do in USA. As i was ordering this from Amazon and is very far from South Africa, i was a bit nervous as to what the quality and lighting would be like as i knew i would never be able to return it. Once received and once we had worked out the remote control features, i was in total awe of this light and still am. The only negative i have is that to set the time to the nearest 3 hours makes it a very long day for the lights to be on which my fish are not used to but we have worked out how to now turn all lights off at 9am until 6am the next morning so all is good. If you are looking for a good light for your freshwater tank (900x420x380) - look no further and do not hesitate to buy this light. It is just amazing

I received this product over a week early. I opened it up and everything looked and worked perfect. I was very happy with this product. When I went to set it up, by the fault of my own I had ordered the wrong size. I have emailed them in hopes of exchanging it for the right size. I look forward to getting this light on my aquarium.

I love this light but every year it breaks:/ Not sure what keeps happening as this is the only light I’ve had this happen to. Don’t think I’ll be getting it for a third time again this year, not worth it.
