Knee High Surf Co. Kids Wetsuit Full Suit for Infant Toddler and Baby

Fits great, I used the size chart successfully! Small is a good fit for my short very skinny 3 year old but has very little room to grow but since he’s so cold I didn’t want it too roomy. Haven’t water tested it yet so I’ll update if I see any issue. I think the cuffs and ankles are pretty snug (even on my skinny kid) but I think it’s supposed to be that way so water doesn’t come and go.

Our baby loves swimming but has been getting so cold in our local pool that his teeth start chattering in about ten minutes. We tried body warmers and shorty wetsuits with no luck. I ordered 8 or so different wetsuits to try to find one that would fit him well. They were all too small lengthwise or too baggy if they fit.He is 13mths, about 23lb and 31" tall. I got a 2t since he was almost too big for the 0T and we want it to last at least 6 months at the price.This one seemed to fit the best, with a tighter body than the others. The legs and arms are too long but folding them worked fine.The only issue was that once in the water, the wetsuit became quite a bit larger and began to ride up his neck area and get baggier. I've never owned a wetsuit so didn't know to expect that though it is apparently completely normal.All that said I think the smaller size would be a nightmare to try and squeeze him into and I'm not sure how long it would fit now. There also doesn't seem to be a 3mm available any more.In terms of keeping him warm, it was about 30 mins until he showed the first signs of being cold (probably due to a wet head and the suit getting baggier). That means we will be able to swim much more than we could before getting out after 10-15 mins!

We purchased this for our 2 yr old. She is very slender (22 lbs), gets cold easily, and we live in an area where summer temps are cool and we are surrounded by cool lakes. We purchased several wetsuits, none of which were well snug fitting to be functional, even if they were for her height. This one also seems to have a propprtionally slimmer butt/thigh than some of the other suits, which is perfect for our kiddo. While this size of suit doesnt have much space for upwards growth, it was the only one even remotely snug enough to keep in her warmth. Its stretchy enough we think it will last her a bit of height growth, and she still has a little space for around growth, too. So great for slender kids- arms and legs just stick out a bit.She is comfortable in it. No complaints or chafing. Great freedom of movement.Seems well made. All the seams in good condition.It keeps her perfectly warm in lake water on an overcast day in the low 70s, something utterly impossible before we found her this wetsuit. Hurray!

This wetsuit is perfect for our 2 year old son. All he wants to do at the beach is swim but we are in chilly Northern California. This suit kept him relatively warm for about 15 minutes in the (January) water and very warm on the beach. We are excited to keep him in the water longer as it begins to warm up. We are very interested in a thicker mm version and a little hood and booties.

While adorable.... I discovered a small rip on a seam after his first use. This was not ripped by us, but was sewn wrong. Or a defect where the sewing machine cut out of thread right in one spot by his thigh.I missed the window to return it because he didn't wear it until vacation which was 2 mo. After ordering it.It's adorable and fits him wonderfully but the rip really bummed me since it was his first beach trip.Other than that the suit is nice, thick and kept him warm in spite of the ripWish I could get a replacement, but it is what it is

my kid would get cold at the pool, and i take him to the beach in soCal a lot too. this wetsuit is fantastic. he used to only last about 20 minutes in the pool. but with this wetsuit, he no longer gets too cold. he plays until he's tired, not until he's cold. it's easy to get him in and out of the wetsuit. and the 2mm suit dries overnight. the fit is snug, but not impossible to get on and off like an adult's suit. it keeps him warm in the soCal ocean too! i love this suit.

We bought this wetsuit for a trip to the ocean, with cool, rainy weather. It worked perfectly! My 15-month old was able to go from the sand, to the water, to the rocks, to the road, all while staying warm and sand-free! It is difficult to get on at first (it's definitely a two-person job!) but with some practice, you will get the hang of it. At first my son had a little trouble walking in it, but he got used to it within a few minutes, and now he absolutely loves it. When he sees it lying around the house, he points to it and gets excited. We used this with the Knee High Surf Co. Pirate Booties, and it was perfect. This is the only "real" wetsuit I could find that is small enough!

OMG! The BEST PRODUCT EVER! So my son is taking swim lessons and int he beginning the sun was not out and when the sun arrived it was so windy outside! Sooo, I got him a body suit, but he was shivering and I felt sooo bad. So I looked up this suit and ordered it. OMG! He does not shiver anymore in the water. The suit fits perfectly and he looks so much happier to be in the water and is having a great time! Thank you Knee High Surf Co.!
